Almost finished! Woo

Well, just doing the final touches to our work now. We've decided to do a paper copy of the game too, to show the connection between a much loved game and the computer version. We thought this would be a good idea for young children to give them more confidence on a computer.

We're found this piece of coursework a challenge, although we are now very happy with what we have achieved!

This is the finished product:
Clicky!!!

If we had more time, we would have added the legends cards to the deck and tweaked with the interface to make it better!

Hope you enjoy!

Top Trumps

Top Trumps was our original group idea for our interactive media project.

In the group there is:
  • Louise Mertens
  • Chris French
  • Me - Emma Elliott

We thought this was a good idea as it is an easy way to give people an insight into our topic of world leaders. Usually world leaders is not seen as an interesting topic, so by making this game we hom we can bring more enjoyment into this area.

Top trumps is an excellent game for children too, so this game could be used to help introduce world leaders to children attending school as an educational game.

So far from our idea we have started the design process, trying to get as much information into such a small amount of space is starting to prove itself to be a challenge!

We're going to have a go at putting the flag of the country of the world leaders on the cards as a background. Hopefully this will give people another piece of information to latch onto to aid learning and understanding.
