Reasons behind the project

It has occurred to me that I haven't put up a major part of my research and development, so here it is:

I'll write it out here too, make it easier to read.

Raises drink awareness to young adults
  • There is a need for this because drinking is becoming a larger problem.
  • There are awareness programmes out there, but the majority seem to tell the user what to do instead of making it a fun and interesting learning process.
  • This program aims to put the problems across in a more friendly way. For example, it suggests cutting down on alcohol consumption to save money. This relates directly at university students, a key group of the target audience.
  • Target Audience: Young Adults, particularly university students.
  • This could also be developed for a younger audience (15-18), as this is where the problem starts.
  • Productions and Distribution: Most people have Internet access so this makes an online interactive program an increasingly accessible means of distribution. The only thing that would help this, would be advertisement.
  • Another development for this would be to pair up with a larger well-known help organisation, such as Bupa.
